Temple The album CD Temple by Thomas Barquee creates a musical and spatial sanctuary of flowing timelessness. Barquee uses his voice as an atmospheric instrument. His vocals are drawn out as long toning chants to the vast chambers of infinite mindspace. His words are not so much sung as they are released as a natural exhalation of his inner stillness. It is almost as though his lyrics are inspirational spiritual mantras, while his sparse piano accompaniment chimes like distant temple bells calling the listener to inner devotion to the Source of Self.

Temple would be an excellent album to play during meditation, massage, or a long relaxing herbal bath. It definitely sets a tone of quiet, reflective contemplation.

This album CD is available from Hearts of Space, PO Box 31321, San Francisco, CA 94131 or email: info@hos.com.
