The NymphaeumNymphaeum is an album of symphonic instrumental music with piano, cello, classical and acoustic guitar accompaniment. Only two of the songs have vocals. Angelwing is made up of three individuals: Reenie Varga as singer/ songwriter, Erin Shawn Hawkins as singer/cellist, and Rick Costello as guitarist/songwriter.

This album CD is a unique combination of folk ballad, light pop and New Age ambient musical styles. Out of the total of ten songs there are several haunting melodies that stand out, such as the tracks titled "Nymphaeum I & II" and "Nymphaeum IV" (which is my personal favorite). Costello's solid guitar work is a perfect accent to the spacious, ethereal synthesized orchestration.

The vocals of Hawkins and Varga are tight (somewhat in the range of Enya). Their harmonies are precise and "right on the money." This is a well-put-together album musically and would be nice for a quiet evening at home alone.

The CD album can be ordered from: Exzel Music, 4406 East Main St., Suite 102-92, Mesa, AZ 85204.
