KarmaComposer and musician Mars Lasar has created something quite unique and distinctive by combining ancient Middle Eastern instruments with current electronic technology. The CD album Karma is a rich and complex offering of lush orchestration, chanting, nature sounds, piano, chiming bells, angelic voices, percussion, in addition to African, Arabic and Indian instruments. Rarely have I come across an album with so much to give the New Age listener. Mars has brought together a fusion of old world and new world like no one that I have heard before.

In addition to nice solid melodies, Mars Lasar has imaginatively used sound effects and non-traditional sounds to serve up many emotions in this musical feast. They range from melancholy to joyful and from passionate to peaceful. There really is a little something for almost anyone's musical tastes on the CD album Karma.
