I Send a VoiceWhen I was a kid growing up in Tennessee, we went to an old-fashioned church. My favorite memories are of the congregation singing the hymns together. The CD album I Send a Voice by Mark Smith & Circle of Friends takes me right back to those good feelings of lifting my voice in celebration and of acceptance of the sameness with my community.

Mark Smith & Friends have created a CD album of great singalong songs (a New Age Mitch Miller.remember him?). This album is an earthly celebration of life with sincere salutations to spirit. Simple inspirational phrases are repeated as musical chants or rounds. Anybody remember singing rounds of "Row Your Boat" around a summer campfire? As we join our voices together, this singing reminds us of the best in others and ourselves.

Mark says, "This music springs from the devotional chanting that's been happening in Piedmont North Carolina for the last twenty years." This music was recorded live when a bunch of friends got together last summer to celebrate life. Mark says of this album, "Turn it up and sing along!"

To order this CD album or to get more information on these "singalongs," contact Smith & Friends at 3108 Five Forks Chapel Hill, NC 27516 or have a look at www.mgeesmith.com.
