The Galaxy On EarthYou cannot pick up this book and come away unchanged! With only fifty-six of the earth's sacred sites described in terms of their topology, history, geomancy, mystical traditions and cosmic connections, you are left crying "More, more!" Leviton begins the book with a meditation reconnecting the sparkling star light within you to the earth. This meditation is designed to assist you in the realization that it is your birthright and your responsibility to love the earth and take care of it. In return, you feel compelled to make pilgrimages to the known holy sites of the Earth to receive the love that She gives back. Although tourism has overwhelmed the physical space of certain holy sites, it cannot change the sacred energy available to the seeker. Leviton's book truly expands our vision showing us the power of light, sound, and color accessible in our communion with the earth. Whether you are able to physically travel to these holy sites or not is irrelevant. You will come away from this book knowing the "ley" of the land, the mysticism of the earth, and your intimate universal knowledge of what is available to you when you open yourself to it. If you do not buy another book this year, make this an imperative purchase.
