The Body/Mind Health Corner™

Dear Steve,

I am a spiritual intuitive who is on what I feel can be a lonely road of growth. There are times I do feel lonely but if I think about it I really do enjoy my private time to study (tarot, channelling, etc, whatever comes my way) and meditate or work on my websites. I feel I am going through a transformational time and am having problems with my eyes. I have been to a few doctors with different diagnosis, but have had a reiki master tell me there is energy blocks that are causing my symptoms. Is there anything you could suggest to help unblock this area quicker so as to relieve the strain in this area? I also wonder if I am on the right path or going about the right way to my spiritual growth?

~ L.

Dear L.,

The eyes, of course, have to do with seeing. Without a definitive diagnosis, it may be hard to get to specifics. However, I DO agree with you in that the spiritual intuitive path may be a lonely one. We are separated from Spirit by being in these earthly bodies. We see the bigger picture. We see Spirit working within all things. At times, we see past, present, and future as if they were one. Because of this we are blessed (or cursed) tho connect with Spirit, sometimes more than we connect with people. It is all too easy to see the separation between our selves and other people because of the limitations of being in a physical body.

Rejoice! See Spirit WITHIN other people. Everyone is a Spiritual being, whehter it is obvious or not. Connect with the Spirit within others. Know that EVERYONE, when they connect with Spirit intuitively, can also know that loneliness, the loneliness of the coporeal body. In this we are are all brothers and sisters. We are one.  And it is precisely because we can connect with the loneliness and the Spirit within others that the physical body is a tool of Spiritual growth.

The body and the means to support it are all aspects of Spirit. It feels like you are on the right path, However, you may need to see the goals and paths as long term and short term. The long term path is to connect with self and others, to learn to love self and others at the same time. The short term path is to support yourself in happy ways...ways that support the physical reality, and ways that give you the time and energy to support the long term path.

There are many specific suggestions that I may make. There are meditations that are normally done with the eyes closed. Yet these may benefit you if you perform them with your eyes open.  I might also recommend acupuncutre, acupressure, Thought Field Therapy, or Polarity Therapy, amongst other avenues.

Positive Thought To Manifest: I safely acknowledge (see) the abundance of Spirit within everyone and everything. I acknowledge that I am in the perfect place at the perfect time, successfully engaged in the perfect activities. I acknowldege the same for others.

See the unity in all things, and bless them,

Steve
