The Body/Mind Health Corner™

Hi Steve,
Can you tell me why I can't heal my legs of ugly varicose veins? I have tried healings, surgery, sclerotherapy, and vitamins. I am currently using a strong horse chestnut tablet, and have used a bit of EFT. I wonder if I have a bock to healing them. The appearance of my legs has been the bane of my life since my twenties. I just want to stop hiding them.

God Bless, Linda

Dear Linda,
In the absence of specific details of your life when you were in your twenties, I will help diagnose the condition with the aid of Body Symbology and Psycho-nergetics(TM). The veins are in the legs, which carry us forward in life. They also reflect our state of independence or “standing on our own two feet.” You are also concerned about the ugliness in your legs, possibly what others think of how you support yourself emotionally in this world. The energy centers that need to open up in order to help heal the veins are the throat (communications center) and Crown (Spiritual center). Putting these together, you need to express your Spirituality more clearly or freely – allowing yourself express it instead of forcing (veins popping out) yourself to express it. Allow yourself to support others on their Spirituality in the perfect form and at the perfect time, instead of possibly “forcing” them to accept Spirit. Spirit, in this case, is the awe and wonder of life, the giving and receiving of Unconditional Love and support, and the creative energy that we all have within our lives.

You do not need to force your Spirituality into your life or the lives of others. Everyone is a Spiritual being. They may express it differently. They may accept or not accept it into their lives, but they ARE Spiritual beings. They are sacred, as we are. They deserve to be honored, as do all of us. You are a Spiritual being, not because of what you do or do not do, but just by being.

Positive Thought To Manifest: Everyone is sacred. I honor the unique Spirit within myself, and within everything I do. I honor Spirit within others as well, and within everything they do.

You share your Spirit with others just by being.

Dear Steven,

My son is a very athletic 19 year old. He plays baseball and I've never seen a person love sports as much as he does. He is a left handed pitcher and plays the outfield as well.

When he finished high school he received scholarships to different universities to play the sport. He choose one that allowed him to play both positions. In the middle of the season he started having trouble with his shoulder, he finished the season very depress and doubtful of his ability to play again.

He had surgery a few months after and intensive therapy, but nothing has worked. I pray every day for his recuperation so he can do what he desires the most in his life (to play baseball again without pain).

We went to a different doctor and he wants to operate again on his shoulder to find out what is wrong, because the MRI's do not show any serious problem to cause that pain, but thinks it is a tear in one of the ligaments. However, if he has surgery again he will not be able to play for another year.

Is there anything you can do to help my son? Is there anything I can do to help him?

I thank you for your help and may God's blessings be with you.

Mike, FL.

Dear Mike,

The left arm receives love and support. The shoulder itself reflects a though of “having to” receive that support, or a thought “I should” receive that support, or others “should” give it to me. 19 is a milestone age in one’s life – an age wherein a person may need to go out into the world (leave home and family) and get the support on one’s own merits, behaviors and skills. I am picking up an possibly insurmountable level of expectations that you son has placed upon himself. If we raise our expectations too far above our abilities to meet those expectations, we set it up to fail.

There is a blockage in his Root or Survival Center indicating a fear or memory of mortality and fear of loss of his own life, or a memory of losing someone in the past – perhaps someone who had given him a lot of support. His Transpersonal Point, about 2 feet above his head also has some limiting energy hindering the connection with his “true” Spirit. This may relate to past life memories of being “too” competitive and having something bad happen because of that. Personally, he may have a core thought that things are not happening “fast enough”, so he speeds things up, perhaps a little too fast to accept them.

The end result is your best teacher. At this point, he may need to explore and accept other strengths and other avenues of expression – accepting more of his WHOLE being. This is what is being created as a result of his injury. So, if he gives himself permission to explore those strengths and expressions of self, he will not be forced to do it by the injury. In this way the injury will have “done its job” and could heal.

Positive Thought To Manifest: I am in the perfect place at the perfect time, successfully engaged in the perfect activity, with the perfect support. I express my creativity with the perfect amount of success at ALL times.

Bless his shoulder for helping him to heal other areas of his life.

Steve
