BUT-free living
with Eddie Connor

BUT-tradicted thought and stress are the primary reasons we attract disease into our minds and bodies. Most Americans are over-working ourselves with multiple jobs, less money, and lack of sleep. In essence, our minds and bodies are taking severe beatings just to keep our chins above the water line.

I grew up with a strong work ethic where taking it easy wasn’t an option. Meaning, my existing beliefs and subconscious programs didn’t allow me to appreciate the power of ease. Ease was a big fat taboo. The thought of taking a nap between my three jobs was out of the question. I felt trapped in a self-induced victim cycle of earning and proving my worthiness.

Today I know ease is good. It eliminates the stress that, over time, produces illness in our bodies. It’s imperative that we vibrate the Dis out of the word Disease and live the frequency of ease. Here are four spiritual practices promoting the ease you desire so that you don’t attract Dis-Ease into your life.

Start Your Day with “I AM Thankful …”
The moment you awake in the morning begin your day with a heart felt “I AM Thankful…” For example: “I AM Thankful for my health.” “I AM Thankful that I choose to focus on success and solutions.”

The essence of gratitude is pure. Love and gratitude are like-frequencies attracting people and situations that feel good. When we start our day with, “I AM Thankful…” the results we reap are wonderful.

Zen-tention®
Intention is decisive direction. When our intention feels good to us and we’re relaxed we fall into a light, Zen-like state. Zen meaning self-contemplation, mediation. Turning our intentions into Zen-tentions is easy when we relax our mind and state our desires in a self-contemplative manner. My Zen-tention is to feel good today and habitually focus on things I appreciate.

Think It, INK IT®
Thinking is powerful BUT … Inking our thoughts lends positive momentum to our goals. Inking our Thinking pulls the invisible thoughts out of the ethers and into reality. We can talk about IT, and we can think about IT, and IT’s not until we consciously INK IT onto paper that our subconscious and conscious mind begin working together to bring our thoughts into tangible reality. With goal setting, don’t just Think It, INK IT!

Yes-ercises®
I coach clients to retrain their brains out of the “N.O. Mindset” and into the “Y.E.S. Exercise Game.”

We frequently say “No” more than we say “Yes.” The subconscious mind does not understand the word “No,” it only understands “Yes.” Therefore, it says yes to every contradicted and convoluted thought we have.

Practice saying a hearty “Yes” to all things that feel empowering. Yes to love. Yes to beauty. Yes to opulence and comfort. Yes to security and abundance. And Yes to ease, joy, and, especially, Yes to wellness!
