Bridge of Art
David Boswell

David Boswell has musically brought to life a beautiful thing. There is an old steel bridge in Los Gatos, California that allows pedestrians and bicyclists to cross a highway famous for insanity and congestion. Over the years, children have painted the steel walls of the walkway. Every inch of space is covered with original art work, an expression of freedom, and colorful creativity at its most innocent and unscathed.

This is where David Boswell's dream of creating an inspired collection of music to connect the art world to the music world begins. A bridge that, if taken, will ultimately connect us to each other. The bridge is his metaphor, and he has succeeded in building it for us to take the high road across it, to rise above the chaos of our own lives and that of the world. To look at each other and not see differences, but similarities.

His message is brought to life with a jazzy and percussive flair. He has built the upbeat arrangements with the familiar family of piano, strings and percussion, but the fretless guitar is the light that brightens the path. Each track has an identity of its own, unique in melody, influence and meter.

This CD is the rhythm of happiness and the sound of freedom. It will get your feet tapping and your heart and mind coming up with ways to make the world a better place. For more information, visit www.myquietmoon.com

Songs of the Spirit III
Karen Drucker

Written and sung like a love letter to the soul, Songs of the Spirit III picks you up and carries you on wings of love to an eternal place of light, peace and tenderness. I believe Karen Drucker is an angel who sings and plays what your spirit knows and believes, but from time to time forgets. For example, in track 9, ‘I Am Loved,' “you are seen, you are heard, you are loved for who you are.”

In one song you are rocked gently in the embrace of love's surrender, and then the power surges and rises up as in track 4, ‘Just Do It,' “just do it, don't talk about it, don't put it off, just do it; just say it, speak my truth, I'll state my needs, just say it.” Track 5, ‘Gentle With Myself,' gave me chills and spoke directly to my heart. When she sang “and I will only go as fast as the slowest part of me feels safe to go,” it felt like a prescription for peace and self love that is an antidote to the social and cultural ‘push yourself as hard as you can' message we are all to familiar with.

Karen's vocals and keyboard are accompanied by John Hoy on guitar, bass, keys and percussion. Tracks 6 and 12 feature Manose on bamboo flute.

Her songs are chants that are intended to be worked with as soul affirmations to bring change and inner attunement. After listening (and re-listening) to the beautiful, inspirational chants, I rediscovered that space in my heart and soul that knows about love, faith and gratitude, but sometimes needs a gentle reminder.

Musical prayers sung by an angel is Songs of the Spirit III . And the best part is when you finish listening, you will know you are an angel too! For more information, visit www.KarenDrucker.com

All One World
Anne Trenning

It is morning, and there is a gentle summer rain falling. I put on All One World and think what perfect music to hear while outside the world is being nourished and cooled. That is how I felt as I listened to Anne's beautiful piano compositions. Her fingers fall like rain on the keys and feed your soul with soothing sound.

Organic and heartfelt, Anne's music is from the soul and touches your own. In a complex world that strives to reach sophisticated, technical heights, there is nothing higher than music written and played from the heart and soul.

In addition to Anne's piano, there is rich French Horn, strings and flute. The music is pure and transformative. Anne's message of global peace and unity is heard in and through the music.

There are no vocals in All One World, but I hear thoughts of peace and love, and I feel what Anne is saying through each piece. The celtic folk soul is with All One World — the ancestors' reverence for every living creature and for our earth are heard through her record. In a world of constant change, chaos and duality, All One World reminds us of what lies within us all; the desire for oneness, peace, love and purity. We are all a part of bringing about transformation in our world and, like Anne Trenning and All One World , we can all make a difference by expressing our truth, our spirit and our connection to the One.

Based in Charlotte, NC, Anne can be reached through her website, www.annetrenning.com
