Inspired Words
Prayers and Blessings to Feed Your Heart by Debbie Prevost
Heart-and-soul prayers have the power to lift the weights of everyday life and give us moments of balance and peace, where we can remember our true selves and regain our enjoyment for life. May these prayers bring you clarity, solace and peace. May they reacquaint you with the beautiful song of your soul, and renew your sense of purpose on this planet. And as you receive these blessings, may they inspire you to spread prayers and blessings around our planet. Each prayer lifts us all.
Affirmation for Being a Blessing to Others
I am a blessing to everyone I meet in my life’s journey. My words and actions – even my thoughts – have a wonderful, lasting effect on the people God sends into my life. I may not always know how I have helped someone, but I trust that Divine purpose is at work in my life. I invite God to use me to bring goodness to others all around me. Even when I’m tired, the God-spark in me somehow shines through, and ignites the God-spark in others. I am grateful to be a source of blessings! Amen and thank you God.
Supporting Our Troops
May we all be moved to pray often for the safety and well-being of the courageous men and women who are serving our country in war zones around the world. May these members of our American family know how much we appreciate the years they generously give so we can have continued peace in our country and less-fortunate nations can finally know how peace feels. May our collective prayers and gratitude keep our nation’s heart open and flowing for centuries to come. Amen and thank you God.
Life-Cleaning
Dear God, I have been so busy with work and fun that I’ve let my life get cluttered – with junk mail and email, with projects half-done, with unexplored and unresolved feelings, and so many other to-do lists. I want to use the long days of summer to clean up my life, so I can enjoy the clear, crisp days of fall with a light heart and an easy mind. Please send me an abundance of energy and passion for all my life-cleaning tasks. Amen and thank you God.
