“Take time to Listen”
by Rita Loyd (Cover Artist)
I take time each day
to stop and listen
to the voices within.
I hear the pain,
and the disappointment,
I hear the dreams
and the desires.
I then respond
to my thoughts and emotions
with compassion and examination.
For compassion
allows myself to safely examine without judgment.
And examination
allows me to understand and to evolve.
