Listening to Our INNER VOICE

"To me, Inner Happiness means a state of mind and spirit whereby peace reigns, gilded with a sense of humor, allowing a person to see the ironies and complexities of life with appreciation of the lessons, as well as forgiveness of self and others for the messes made along life's journey."

~ Mary Curro, Portsmouth , VA

"As a beloved child of God, I have been given a sizeable amount of talents which I feel need to be explored and used this lifetime to make not only my own world but the big world at large a better place for those whose lives touch mine in some small or large way … when I do make this connection it gives me inner happiness and a lot of peace and gratitude that I have again been able to give back to my Creator."

~ Suzanne Lewis Brown, Chapel Hill , NC

"I don't know what true happiness is, but for me, I believe I know what it would be. When all humanity lives with consciousness so that everyone will honor and respect the earth and each other. I have hope that someday I will know true happiness."

~ Michael LePard, Raleigh , NC

Knowing that I can trust myself for the answers to my questions;

and the patience to receive them.

Enjoying the freedoms that I give myself and feeling the love and appreciation
of being satisfied…

Letting myself experience what I think I'm wanting and then changing my mind.

Being alone and enjoying myself. Being with others and enjoying myself.

While taking pleasure in my walks around the lake, suddenly remembering that
I used to be in corporate. And forgetting what that feels like.

Knowing I can ease my fears by asking myself to join my higher mind
and have faith.

Having the knowledge to use all my inner resources and experiencing the warmth, empathy, and laughter with all my family and friends.

~ Cindy Cicero, Apex, NC

That moment

when things fit

into their rightful place

My universe aligns with goodness

A feeling emerges

Everything is right in G-d's world

Perfection in time and space

Picture, if you will, a basketball and its skin is the "happy".  The inside of the ball is the life essence that causes, defines, and sustains "happy".

Here's what the core looks like:

*Connected with Divine

*Love for All with joy and fun

*Purpose and Hope

*Concerns hold promise (no worries)

A core filled to capacity with these ideals creates bouyant happy,  bouncing higher, farther, and more powerfully.

The True Key to Inner Happiness
In each of us exists a fully expressed state of being happy, fulfilled and centered. It is inside of our selves, in a place that is veiled by our belief systems Most people seek this genuine feeling by looking for ways to bring it in from the outside, or from another person, place, or thing, it can not be found that way, it is impossible. The happiness that I am talking about is in fact an abandonment of seeking and a gentle fulfillment of who we are in truth. What keeps us from connecting to this soft flowing flexible state of being is that we are simply to busy with our agendas, in the avalanche of what we think our lives should look like, as if we where being chased by the predator of time. We think that we have to do so much to satisfy the needs and wants of the human path that we forget who we really are, so we rely on the strict requirements of the illusion to validate our progressional view of life. These are our reasons and this is what we have come to believe is appropriate and worthy. It is in fact redundant, that we seek this happiness outside of ourselves, we look to the masters and gurus to show us where the path is, we see them as special and capable of this and we begin a laborious journey to that goal. What I am suggesting is, that it is not necessary, you are already that special person who has found the key, you are only hypnotized into believing it can not be so simple, but it is. Our entire perspective on life is based on getting not letting. We drive on highways and get off exits, but do we ever pull over and let the road come to us? There is no process or practice that actually creates inner peace and happiness, what masters provide you with is opportunities to still the ever present agendas that we create for ourselves. Agendas are simply the minds desire to keep you on track and to get the desired outcome so that you will not go beyond it's diligent chatter to a place where you are balanced, blended, and present. That place and feeling you want to experience is in the heart, not the mind. It is not an emotion; they are simply expressions of energy. Inner Happiness is a feeling which radiates from our core, a natural state of being, it just is. We have become so used to the pressure and force in life we do not know how to allow our essence to reveal itself to us, it is so graceful that we are afraid of experiencing it, we even reject it because it is not a formula that has a conclusion. Or an action that provides us with a result. We witness, teach, and learn that action produces result. That allowing is lazy and ineffective, because of this we want inner happiness, but we are terrified to change our mind and heart purposes. In truth the masters and gurus of peace and happiness are not special people they are just the ones who discovered this grace.
