Inner Happiness: “Maxim–um” Happiness

The following is an audio feature in MP3 format.
To listen, click on the links below.

Debby's thought-provoking talk inspires self-examination. Meditate on feelings, thoughts, and motives which stimulate further questions as you hear ideas based upon the Old Testament.  Each edition incorporates a psalm which speaks to the heart, and includes a guided imagery to calm the body. Debby has been writing philosophical articles for Innerchange since 2000. She is a homeopath and a student of Kabbalah. Debby teaches private qigong lessons utilizing yoga, dance, guided imagery and meditation to promote relaxation and stress reduction.

To give thanks to His leadership we commemorate Moses' death on the Hebrew month and day of Adar 7 which corresponds to February 25 of this year 2007 as we remember the ancient Jewish maxim, "From Moses until Moses there was none as great as Moses!"

The orders of the Lord are upright,
causing the heart to rejoice;
the commandment of the Lord is clear,
enlightening the eyes.
(Psalms 19:9)

Finding happiness - the talk of the town. We can keep chasing after this elusive feeling or we can get in touch with our inner wisdom an attitude of continuous happiness. Listen to the teachings of three wise sages who pondered the same question many thousands of years ago.  They can help us excavate our way through the maze of confusion. Moses, Shimon Ben Zoma and Master Kongzi Confucius will be our guides.

Testimonials:

Thank you for hosting Debby's online audio column. I have just listened to "Justice, Justice" from the August-September 2006 edition. Her enunciation is clear and voice pleasantly modulated. Her talk is cogent, well thought out, and organized. In this age when life seems devoid of meaning and an exercise in futility, her words proclaim a divine purpose to life and provide a spark of hope for the listener.
